Winter Get-away – Florida

This small 1950’s Florida home nestled in a little piece of paradise needed to be remodeled for comfort and livability. Sliding doors and vertical blinds were removed and replaced with French doors opening to the pool area. Dark colors, fabrics and tile were replaced with fresh bright colors and 17” tile set on an angle along with a complimentary carpet.

The creation of a master bathroom to adjoin the master bedroom was desired as part of this project. In order to achieve this, a hallway was closed off and the existing bathroom and separate closet were gutted and enlarged. A dressing area and closet were created along with the remodeled bathroom to complete the master suite.
